Ever wonder what happens when you mix a theatre enthusiast, a dancer at heart, and a girl who lived 17 years overseas in Europe? Well, hi! Let me introduce myself! My name is Nadya Beyar, and I am a vivacious and high-capacity actor, dancer, singer, and choreographer who started to perform when I was just 3 years old. I grew up in Moscow, Russia for 10 years and then moved to Budapest, Hungary till I graduated High School. As a kid I was a part of a competitive Latin Dance Company and competed internationally for 15 years. In Hungary, I was a part of my very first musical, Seussical Jr. where I was a little Who and from then on, I was hooked.

 

I attended Western Michigan University where I got my BFA in Acting (with a Musical Theatre emphasis) and my BA in dance. I got the opportunity to perform in many productions at Western like Harriet in POTUS and the Dance Captain in SpongeBob the Musical. I’ve also had the privilege of performing off campus at Farmers Alley Theatre where I was Sam in Addy and Uno (TYA) and the choreographer for A Christmas Carol.

I am now a Chicago based actor and dancer. Working at local theatre's like Beverly Arts Center (Newsies), Boogie Down Broadway the Tour (Featured Dancer), and Magnified Gift Theatre. I am active in the dance scene and am a teacher at Dance On Broadway.

 

I am a passionate artist and believe that we are so much more than just our craft and I strive to become a well-rounded human as well as an artist. I have a deep desire to learn from all those I meet and create meaningful connections to all those around me.
